To exit out of whatever event they may be logged into they need to go to settings, click on change group and then select ‘luremasters nz’. You can then select lure masters 2024. If you are still logged into the 2023 event you will need to exit out of this first before you can see the 2024 event.

  1. Take a photo of your fish on our measure mat.
  2. Choose the species and length of the fish. Once done scroll down and click the red submit button.
  3. Check your log. Once it has gone green it will show that the photo has been successfully submitted.

Key reminders

  • The measurement must be CLEARLY seen on the mat when the photo is taken. the nose/mouth of the fish must be touching the board of the measuring mat for us to get an accurate reading.
  • No mutilated fish will be entered. EG if you enter a kahawai and we can see it has been bled or gutted it will be disqualified.
  • We check every entered photo individually. So you enter the length that you believe the fish is and if we see otherwise the measurement will be changed. Our decision is final.
  • The live leaderboard is updated when possible. This means if you enter a fish on your phone it could be a few hours before you see it appear on the leaderboard due to us checking every photo individually before approving. There is often a big queue of photos.
  • If you plan to fish in an area with bad reception, switch the app to offline mode in the top right corner. You can enter fish while you are in this mode. Once back in reception switch it to online and your photos will automatically upload. We encourage you to select ‘save to camera roll’ on the app. This will save every photo you take to your camera roll so that you have a backup if a photo doesn’t get uploaded.
  • You can check that your photos have been uploaded correctly by clicking on LOG. This will show you everything you have entered.
  • It is super important to make sure your camera/phone camera lens is clean, the fish is on the mat correctly and it is obvious what the measurement of the fish is. If there is any doubt we will not be able to accept your photo.
