Ways to fish?

Boat, Kayak, Jetski and land based fishing are all accepted. No speared fish will be accepted as the fish must be caught on a lure and any mutilated fish will be disqualified. 

Rules

1. All fish must be entered through the Daiwa Tournament App on the NZ Lure Masters Measure Mat, any past years lure masters mats are accepted, other comps mats can be used if given permission from nz lure masters team.
2. No mutilated or processed fish will be accepted, no fish covered in blood affecting the measure mat accepted, no fish with damaged gills or throats that could affect length accepted.
3. No fish taken with nets, long lines or spear.
4. No fish caught on bait will be accepted.
5. Judges decision will be final.
6. In the event of a draw the first fish entered is the winner, if needed we will take outside advice from an independent person.
7. Organisers reserve the right to upgrade any prizes including the boat, motor, trailer, rods, reels and other prizes as they see fit to an equal or higher retail value.
8. The organisers and or venue staff reserve the right to refuse entry and serve alcohol to any one acting in a way that’s not in the spirit of the competition and or the law.
9. You must be a fully paid entrant to win any prizes.
10. All entrants must fish within their capabilities, it’s the skippers responsibility to look after himself and his crew.
11. if there is a wind warning and or storm warning you must fish within your boat and skippers limits, nz lure masters take no responsibility for people fishing outside there comfort zone.
12. The skipper must comply with all maritime laws.
13. We will not postpone or cancel the event, it will run regardless of weather and all prizes will be won as random draws.
14. Tickets are non refundable.
15. In the event of the Competition being cancelled we will advise of a new date closer to the time.
16. Every angler must be a Ticket holder, no sharing of fish, any one cheating by sharing fish will be banned, if the fish look similar and or the app adudicator deems the fish to be the same,based on time of entry or physical appearance we will contact the angler direct to discuss a solution.
17. We do the best to secure prizes 12 months out,  however model changes or stock availability may mean changes to prizes advertised, this is out of our control.
